Jim Snidero is a Alto saxophone recording artist, bandleader and author living in New York City. He has 15 recordings as a leader and has toured and/or recorded with the Mingus Big Band, Eddie Palmieri, Frank Sinatra, Toshiko Akiyoshi, Steve Smith, Conrad Herwig, Walt Weiskopf, and Joe Magnarelli, among others.

His latest recording, released August 18, 2009 on Highnote/Savant records, features 6 originals with guitar trio (Paul Bollenback, Paul Gill, Billy Drummond). The important jazz critic Neil Tesser (Rolling Stone, Playboy, Grammys,...) has called it "some of Snidero's most insightful work on disc" and "a new band and evolving sound that deserves your attention".
